‘I have practiced yoga for over 15 years and began training with The British Wheel of Yoga to become a teacher in 2004. I experienced first hand the many benefits of yoga during the pregnancy and birth of my first daughter, and trained to teach pregnancy yoga with teacher and midwife Judy Cameron at Findahorn in 2008. Through yoga, breathing and meditation I enjoyed a peaceful pregnancy and gentle homebirth of my second daughter in 2010.
I am enthusiastic to share my experience and expertise with other pregnant women. My pregnancy classes are friendly and fun, and provide women with the opportunities to listen to their body, connect with their babies and meet other like minded mums. My work is about using yoga to help women release much of the fear and negativity surrounding pregnancy and birth, encouraging them to become strong and confident in body and mind, feeling prepared and positive to birth and mother their babies.
I am passionate about peaceful pregnancy, breast feeding and natural parenting, and alongside Hatti Burt began the Beautiful Beginnings Natural Playgroup.’
